The IOR History

  • 1967

    Started operations at a local seafood market exporting frozen shrimps to Japan.

  • 1977

    Registered as Far East Cold Storages Co., Ltd. and our first factory site was built.

  • 1987

    We built our second factory which utilises advanced freezing technology. Also started raising and exporting black tiger shrimps.

  • 1988

    The company built the third factory to keep up with growing demand.

  • 1992

    The company was rebranded and changed name to Inter-Oceanic Resources Co., Ltd.

  • 1995

    Upgraded value-added product lines and equipped factories with value added production machinery.

  • 1997

    Formed in-house R&D team and started working with chained restaurants.

  • 2014

    Expanded to full range of ready-to-eat, ready-to-cook and value-added product lines.
